Hello there! My name is Lindie Rachael, and I am a travel sage, linguist, and writer. Because my father was an international airline captain, travel and I go back even farther than my memory does. Growing up, I lived in the small town of Normal, Illinois. (This is a real place! You can Google it!) For college, I went to a top-15 university and graduated summa cum laude. After that, I got my master’s degree in theoretical linguistics. Since college, I have lived and/or worked on four continents. As a result of my studies and work experience, I speak seven European languages.*
I own a boutique travel company called Saints & Sages, specializing in small, curated group travel to Europe and Latin America and bespoke domestic and international trips. Occasionally, I freelance in the IT realm (AI linguistics projects and WordPress design). My passion, though, is bringing people and cultures together, whether I am accompanying a group of Americans abroad or international visitors to Walt Disney World or Washington DC.
On a personal level, I am a cake-eating, procrastination ninja who lives in the Atlanta area with her husband, four daughters, and a personal protection chihuahua named Luli. I believe that regular, non-Double Stuf Oreos are not suitable for consumption; they are “recipe Oreos.” My super power is giving directions based solely on restaurant way-points.
Would you like a no-obligation quote on a trip for your family or friend group? Or would you like more information on the tours I lead? Shoot me an email.
*In case you’re curious, I’m fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Catalán. For German and Italian, I can get myself into trouble, but possibly not out of it!
